Hoi An is one of the amazing jewels of Vietnam as it has really managed to balance modern development with preserving its history. My friend Sophie who has some expertise in this area has shared her thoughts about why Hoi An is so special.
Action for the city is a non-profit organization based out of Hoi An whose goal is to make the city more green and more livable for tourists and residents. They aim to be a sustainable model for all development in Vietnamese cities, something which is sorely needed as growth in Vietnam continues at a rapid pace.
